Evening Surprise

I got quite a jolt in my yahoo mail box this evening when I found out that Matt McNutt, a Youth Pastor and contestant on The Biggest Loser took time out of his busy life to encourage me today. You can check out his new blog though my blogroll.

I want to thank everyone who comes and encourages me through comments. We all know that this is a long battle that will probably never end, just get easier. It’s great to know that there are people out there reading my journey and encouraging me.

So I hope to be more active on this blog. I’ll probably talk about my daily life, my weight loss, and things I see in the world.

Hanging Out

Lately I’ve been hanging out at TSO. TSO is the sims online. Though I like the fact that there are activities to do online compared to Second Life there just doesn’t seem to be a lot of chatting. I guess like chat rooms people really don’t want to blast their lives to the general public.

So until hubby and I can afford a second bus pass, I will have to bide my time with music and books. Of course I’m going to sneak an hour of Spanish class and exercise in there.

I have enough time to sneak several hours of exercise into my daily life but I don’t think I could push myself for that long. Though I really should because I’m really not going to have a social life until a second income comes into this household.

And they say Rat’s are anti-social people. More like driven creatures that are too hard on others and especially ourselves. Anyhoo, I would love to find a weekly group to hang out at in person.

Eating  - I’ve done pretty good with eating this week. Most of the time I have kept my calories within 1700 - 1900 calories. The protean, carbs, and fat have always been on the low side of the scale. So I think I’m doing good.

Exercise  - Well that hasn’t been as good as I want it to be. I want exercise to be second nature to me. Almost as if I can’t wait to wake up, put on my mp3 player and be active.

As for my activity I’ve been dancing and using a hula hoop. I have been working up a sweat but it’s not your basic workout. I hope to save up and take a class. I’m thinking either martial arts or dancing.

Ah now for the weekly measurements……
