Why did it have to rain today? My first day of training and I had to do it in the rain. I guess all days can’t be sunny N. California 75 degree weather. I did train for one mile though and I have to say that I’m happy with that. I have been away from exercise and walking for a long time. So a 460 pound woman walking a mile has to be a good start right? Right?
The rain just remind me that I have prepare for it. I’m going to have to check around for a bright rain jacket (hopefully pink) and a pair of rain shoes because N. California has 2 more months of off and on again weather.
Anyone have any cures for being grumpy in the rain. I know there has to be people out there who train for Ironman competition, Ironwoman competitions, and such in the rain. How do you get through the wind and rain in your face?

hi
if its raining during your training days…nothing to worry you can continue doing it through covered- court in your area or you can do it at home if you treadmill…
this is usually my alternatives during rainy days …don’t put off your training just because of the rainy season…good luck

Thanks for the good advice! I figure that I’ll put on a bright raincoat and just keep on walking.
I mean marathon runners run in the rain all the time. Why should I be any different.
