I’m really trying my hardest to have loved filled shoes today. Really I am! The world is not making it an easy day though.
5:45 a.m. Wake up to loud music and get ready to rush out the door
8:30 a.m. GA meeting with the county
This is when frustration sets in. Not only do Mike and I find out that we make too much money to obtain financial assistance from the county but it might cut into our food stamp budget also. A computer glitch means another couple of days of vegetables, beans, and white rice. O.K. I’m rolling my eyes right now.
I always feel very snappy and dirty when I walk out of the G.A. office. So I have been emotionally trying to clean myself from that experience all day. Hopefully a nice shower and a couple hours of role-playing will help.
I don’t think many of you would love Anika Romolin. She’s a real blood sucking backstabber who likes to control things from backstage and the shadows.
Do I really have to look at the positive side of things? Do I really have to wear loved filled shoes today? The positive side is that we did get about a 2.25-mile walk. The feet were really dragging during the last quarter mile.
The weather was nice and even a little warm today. So much better than wind, clouds, and rain. I think I even heard a dove cooing next to our bedroom window.

Ah well my fellow walkers and readers, time to move on to tomorrow. I hope that everyone has a great night or had a great night depending on what country you are reading this in.
My goal for tomorrow is to walk another 2 miles
