Love Filled Shoes

Wine and Cheese

March 18, 2008 · No Comments

In about an hour my husband will be sitting down for an interview with one of the local wine and cheese cafes. I believe that there is one in San Jose, California and one in Campbell, California. I’m very excited for Wolfie!

At A.G. Ferrari Foods he spent two years selling upscale important foods, wines and cheeses. He really loved his job there but they decided to let him go without explination. I guess companies can do that these days.

“Here’s your last check now get out of my face”

I personally don’t trust companies that don’t have a set way of dealing with problems at the store. Every food location that I have worked at gave an employee a verbal warning, a write up, and then your final paycheck.

Anyways this isn’t about A.G. Ferrari and their employment standards. I really hope that Wolfie gets this job. He’s really good with people and loves sharing information. He’s had ants in his pants since he was fired in February.

So hopefully he’ll come home with good news and a smile on his face.

Homework Assignment #2

Well I’ve cleared my cupboard of anthing that doesn’t inspire me. Though I can’t say that I am the best example because I didn’t have a lot in my cupboards to begin with.

I can’t believe how difficult is to sit down and eat without distractions. I’m so not use to putting the fork down between bites because I’m eaither watching t.v., reading, playing a game, or on the computer.

This is one of Paul McKenna’s rules that I’m really going to have to work on. It is so easy for my husband and I to sit in front of the television and eat our meal.

So I’m suppose to make a list of 5 foods that I like and use that as a shopping list. Well I should be getting some money for groceries soon, so I guess I should make my list.

  • Sushi
  • Salmon
  • Baked Chicken
  • Stir Fry
  • Chili

I could go on and on of the things that I like but Paul McKenna said to just start with five. One thing I have learned is that I don’t like a lot of instant foods.

For example I use to eat instant mac and cheese all the time. Now that I’m slowing down and actually trying to taste the flavors of the food, Mac and cheese is garbage. I wouldn’t feed that stuff to an animal.

Yes the food industry makes millions off of it.
